This year our fundraising efforts are for the Gaza Sunbirds.
This Palestinian para-cycling team is doing all it can to support it’s war torn community with aid and food. This grass roots organisation supplies parcels of essentials to their community around them.
Our goal is to raise €500 for the Gaza Sunbirds. All donations for postcards will go directly to this organisation.
We are also inviting the public to be part of our letter writing campaign. We want to send 500 postcards to our elected representatives and ask them to keep up the pressure for a ceasefire in Gaza. We have sponsored 500 stamps to get this done.
How
Three artists have designed postcards on the theme of Cycling and Resistance. We have printed 2000 postcards, with 500 stamped and ready for your messages. The remaining postcards are available for a donation towards The Gaza Sunbirds.
Where – at the Cycle Sense Workshop
You are invited to come to the workshop during our opening hours to write postcards (addresses and message suggestions available). Our hours are:
- Monday/Tuesday/Friday: 10-5
- Saturday: 10-4
